Gigabyte + ASUS --> Gigabyte

یک خبر داغ! البته مال 8 یا 9 روز قبله. می خواستم زودتر بذارم ولی نشد. ببخشین اگه می دونستین

Three years ago, ASUS and Gigabyte were fighting for various sectors of the hardware market. The biggest fight was for the users of motherboards and graphics cards in the medium level. Those fights were usually motives for ASUS to demonstrate its superiority, according to various review articles from that time, comparing the two.

But times changed, and on August 8 2006, Gigabyte Technology and ASUSTeK Computer Inc. announced their strategic alliance in motherboards and graphics cards. Naturally, there are some back-ends to this story, as the new born giant will produce Gigabyte branded motherboards. Also, in the new company, which has a capital of NT$8.000.000.000, Gigabyte makes all the decisions, as it holds 51% of all shares, and has the right to name the chairman and three board directors. ASUS only gets two seats in the new joint-venture, which is expected to be fully operational in January 2007.

حال کردین! Gigabyte بچمون Asus رو خورد! به همین راحتی. تا دو سال دیگه شما هیچ نامی از Asus تو ذهنتون باقی نمی مونه. این ماجرا دقیقا شبیه ماجرای تر کیب Quantum و Maxtor تو زمینه Hard Drive ها بود که اول قرار بود محصول مشترک این دو شرکت با نام Quantum-Maxtor بیاد ولی اونجا هم این قدر Maxtor سنگین بود که نام Quantum رو حذف کرد و الان یکه تاز بی چون و چرا فقط Maxtor هستش.

اینجا هم Gigabyte با حذف رقیبی دقیقا در سطح خودش و با کم کردن قیمت ها به زودی تمام شرکت های دیگه رو نابود می کنه و میشه یکه تاز!

من موندم چه قدر پول به Asus پیشنهاد دادن که حاضر به انجام این کار شده؟ البته این نشون میده که اوضاع داخلی Asus هم خیلی جالب نبوده ها! فکر کنم تو این معامله پول 10 سال نفت ایران بین این دو تا جابجا شد!!!!
